Considering the topic I honestly don’t know what would be the best “fit” as far as production style. This is what I would call “raw”. Nothing fancy, no slick transitions and extra camera work. Just me talking to the camera. “Raw” tends to feel more approachable and accessible. More personal and intimate.
The other option is to make it a more polished and professional thing. Good editing, lots of b-roll and extra camera angles and stuff. More entertaining to watch and by extension more attractive and appealing. Both have their pros and cons.
